Alexander Efimov

Steklov Institute of Mathematics

Biosketch

Alexander Efimov is currently a Senior Researcher at the Algebraic Geometry Section of Steklov Mathematical Institute of RAS, Moscow, Russia. He is also a member of the International Laboratory of Mirror Symmetry and Automorphic Forms, Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia.

Alexander has been wroking in Steklov Mathematical Institute since 2010. He defended his Ph.D. in 2011 in Steklov Institute under the supervision of Dmitri Orlov. Alexander has been a member of the Laboratory of Algebraic Geometry and its Applications (Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia) from 2010 till 2017. He was a Newton Research Fellow in the University of Warwick in 2013-2014.

Alexander has graduated from Department of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2010, and also from Independent University of Moscow in 2009. He studied in Graduate School of Steklov Mathematical Institute in 2010-2011, and also in Graduate School of Independent University of Moscow in 2009-2011.

Alexander has 16 published papers and 5 preprints.
