Biosketch
Robert Berman is, since 2013, a Professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. He completed his PhD in 2006 at Chalmers under the direction of Bo Berndtsson. He then spent one and half year as a Post Doc at Institut Fourier in Grenoble with Jean-Pierre Demailly, before moving back to Sweden to take up a research position at Chalmers. Robert Berman has had several major research grants, including an ERC starting grant and a Wallenberg Acedemy Fellowship. He is a recipient of the Wallenberg prize, the Tage Erlander prize and the Göran Gustafsson prize and an elected member of the Royal Academy of Sweden, since 2016.
