Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Maribor hosted the second meeting of the organizing committee in Maribor on 14 October 2016.

Local organizers of the conference set the first outline of the Minisymposia and satellite conference to promote participation on the congress. 

Additionally, the sponsorship committee has been created, which will be working on securing the resources for the congress.
